Questions teams ask before trusting an operations platform with business data and workflows.
These answers describe the current NexusAI product and avoid promises that are not supported by the implemented platform or published plan terms.
What is NexusAI?
NexusAI is an AI-assisted business operations workspace operated by MPBusiness. It connects validated reporting and KPIs with EDI workflows, projects and actions, controlled automation, governed knowledge, team access, and source-backed AI assistance.
Who is NexusAI for?
It is designed for operations, finance, integration, and business teams that want trusted evidence and day-to-day execution in one controlled workspace instead of disconnected reporting and follow-up tools.
Do I need to replace or redesign my spreadsheets first?
No. NexusAI is designed to work with supported Excel and CSV inputs. A file still needs a usable structure, and mappings or validation rules may need review when the source format changes.
Which spreadsheet file types are supported?
The current public reporting plans support XLS, XLSX, and CSV imports.
How does field mapping work?
Imported columns are mapped to the reporting fields NexusAI needs. Repeatable mappings are available in the Reporting plan, while a changed or unfamiliar source can require review before it is used for reporting.
What happens when columns change?
NexusAI should not silently assume that a changed column still means the same thing. A changed source can require the mapping to be reviewed or corrected before reporting continues.
How is data validated?
Validation occurs before records are treated as reporting-ready. Records that fail the applicable checks are separated from included reporting rows rather than silently being treated as valid.
What happens to invalid rows?
Invalid or excluded rows are kept out of KPI calculations until the issue is addressed or the row is intentionally excluded. The goal is to make exceptions visible instead of hiding them inside a total.
Can I trace a KPI back to the source?
Source-backed reporting is designed to preserve a chain from KPI to calculation, validated record, source-row reference, and original file reference when that trace evidence exists for the dataset.
Can AI change my approved numbers?
No through the current AI Advisor path. The Advisor is read-only: it receives a bounded evidence packet for analysis and is not given an action that writes or approves reporting data.
Is my entire spreadsheet sent to the AI model?
Not through the current AI Advisor request path. The Advisor sends bounded, source-backed context rather than uploading the original spreadsheet file to the model request.
Which AI provider does NexusAI use?
The current Advisor path uses Vercel AI Gateway and a provider selected by the server configuration. Provider details can change with deployment configuration, so the AI data-handling page is the current source of truth.
Is customer data used to train AI models?
NexusAI does not publish a blanket retention or training promise that has not been independently verified for the configured provider. The AI data-handling page explains the current request path and the limits of the claim NexusAI makes today.
Can I export reporting data?
Export availability depends on the reporting surface and the workspace access assigned to the user.
Can multiple people use one workspace?
Yes. Workspace owners approve team access explicitly and can assign department and responsibility permissions.
How do retention and deletion work?
Use the Privacy page and workspace Settings or support for account and data requests. NexusAI does not promise behavior beyond the implemented controls and published policies.
